Joe Redington Jr/Sr. High SchoolKnik, AK
The 65 million dollar, 94,450 square foot, fast track construction project will house over 500 students when completed in August 2015. The concrete scope of work, included over 3200 cubic yards of concrete, 182 tons of reinforcing steel and over 100,000 square feet of flatwork. DCI worked with the general contractor to sequence and schedule man power in order to meet the aggressive project milestones. DCI also designed custom grade beam block outs in order to allow the structural steel to be installed prior to the placement of the concrete slabs. Furie - Kitchen Lights Development Onshore Facilities

Fast Track construction of a Central Processing Facility. The facility consisted of 7 buildings, including (2) reciprocating compressor unit foundations. DCI installed over 1850 cubic yards of concrete and 103 tons of reinforcing steel in a little over 60 days. DCI was tasked with fast tracking the masonry scope of work at both the (Old Airport Road) Walgreens and the Autozone projects during the same month. Southeast Radiation Oncology Center

This project consisted of a concrete and wood framed building to house a medical linear accelerator for radiation treatments for oncology patients in the Juneau community. The project scheduled was extremely aggressive and the entire project was completed in less than 6 months. Along with the typical structure concrete, DCI constructed a concrete vault to contain the linear accelerator with concrete walls 20 feet in height and 3 feet thick while maintaining very strict tolerances.
